Jordan Spieth shot a career-best 10-under 61 Saturday to grab a two-shot lead at the John Deere Classic.
After a slow start to the tournament Spieth appears to have found form ahead of next weeks Open Championship. A solid 64 on Friday, followed by an outstanding 61 today leaves him with a lot of confidence going into the last round.
Spieth’s round included six birdies and was highlighted by a pair of eagles, including a 106-yarder on the par-5 17th hole after he sent his tee shot into the trees.
